The pretzel crusted cheese curds are amazing especially with the raspberry jalapeno sauce. We've never had a bad meal here. Kids loved it too!

Tonight we shared pizza, chili, wedge salad, beef stroganoff, and fish n chips. I can't think of anywhere in Omaha that I have had better of any of them. I know it's a brew pub, but the wine list is fantastic. This could be the best all around restaurant on Omaha!

No bad seat in the house! I have gotten to eat upstairs, downstairs, and outside and have enjoyed my experience every time! The food is excellent with a lot of variety. Of course the best part is the beer. The selection changes regularly so it’s a different experience every time!

I've always wanted to like Upstream, and everytime I go I really try. But the thing is their food is really lacking in diversity, and their prices don't reflect their plates at all. Everything they tend to have is well made, but I never really feel like the value is ever there. I've had problems where my food would come out cold or just plain wrong. Not a terrible stop, but there are better.

I appreciate that they make it easy to secure a reservation, even for a small party of three, online and well in advance. Traditional menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, but with a more upscale twist. I got the fish and chips and had three huge pieces of fish, fries, and the cucumber salad. I had to take some home because I had filled up on the delicious spinach and artichoke dip appetizer that comes with bread. Delicious food and I have only had great service here.

I’ve written a reviews on OpenTable for Upstream so I figured make as well make a review here as well. I continuously go back to Upstream not only because of the incredibly convenient location, but because of the usually great service (we all have our bad days sometimes) and equally great food. Sometimes the noise can be a little loud, but the upstairs bar is perfect sometimes for the “get-away†atmosphere as the noise level tends to be far less, especially if there is no parties. I do have to question getting ID’d three times last night (I wish I looked that young still), but it is what it is I assume - other than that, thank you as usual Upstream!

We went in with a group of six and had a very friendly waitress. I had just turned 21 and she suggested me her favorite, sweet drink 'Dragon Slayer'. I recommend! Everyone loved their food and it was good portions. A bit expensive but worth the price. Its a bit juvenile, but I would recommend the Upstream Mac and Cheese. Its very creamy and rich, even better with the blackened chicken! The recommendations on here for the Artichoke+Asiago dip didn't disappoint. They're generous and provide you with a birthday dessert of your choosing as well. While none of us got it, the brunch they host on Sundays had a wide variety of goodies! Would go back for more special events!

Of all the places in the old market, this one is the most forgettable. Steaks are okay at best. Home made root beer is horrible. Salads are okay at best.

Wow! The last time I went to Upstream Brewery Company in the Old Market , here in Omaha , Nebraska was in October of last year and my experience was outstanding . I ordered there prime rib 🽠and I wasn't disappointed at all😀. I do plan to return to this jewel in the Old Market to enjoy other fine entrees offered at this restaurant . We stopped in Omaha for a night while on a road trip and happened to find Upstream Brewery while looking for a nice place for dinner. We were SO glad we did! Food was great, the outdoor seating was perfect, and the surrounding area (the Old Market district) was really fun to walk around in on a warm summer evening. I had the pork chop at Upstream and it's one of the best I've ever had. Even the squash tasted amazing. My girlfriend got the seared tuna and loved it. Great experience overall, and even better for being a random find in a lovely part of the city that we were unfamiliar with. We're driving back next week and plan to stop in Omaha again just to go back to Upstream!

We were visiting the area for an event and excited to try this place out because of so many good reviews online but found it lacking. They were out of fish and chips (which we weren’t told until after placing our order), half of our party got cold food, orders were wrong and overall the food was subpar. We had to flag down the server for missing food (after the runner just dropped stuff off and left without asking if we got it all), ask twice for a kids menu and ask twice to correct an incorrect order. In our server’s defense, they clearly had him working too many parties of 6 or more.

Upstream Brewery was one of the first, if not the first in house brewery in Omaha. It was way ahead of the game with its beers, menu and layout. Upstream is now still a solid offering, but its concepts are now dated and food offerings are uneven. Still a good place for large groups, summer patio season and some very solid in house beers, but Upstream has been surpassed by breweries with better menus and local beers.

I had the blackened salmon salad. It was delish! The greens were fresh and the salmon was cooked perfectly black, crispy, and just a little spicy. Our waiter was very attentive, and the beer was good. I would go back.

Excellent variety of home brews, great atmosphere, many uniquely prepared appetizers and entree choices. Service was wonderful and Kylie was very helpful explaining menu choices and answering any questions we had. Highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere in the Old Market section of Omaha. Large enough to offer multiple options for seating (including sidewalk outside and deck upstairs). Food is good, and menu has interesting options. The combination of good beer, decent food, and quirky, interesting atmosphere is hard to beat.

Went to the Old Market location a few years ago. Was not impressed at all! The food is over priced for what you get. Went with a group of family, service was slow and rude,food had to be sent back for a few of us. I truly hope that they have solved these issues. I won't be going back to find out either way.

Their beer was unique and well made. Definitely not "just another craft beer joint." Unfortunately they were sold out of the bottles I wanted to take home. I'll be back to try again.

I used to live in Omaha and visit about once a year. I only started going to this restaurant once I had moved, but now it's a must go whenever I come back. Beer cheese anything is my favorite and any of their dishes with beer cheese is FANTASTIC. Their dishes are consistently delicious and wait staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

My first beer was very pleasant and smooth. As for my second, not so much. I had ordered an Imperial Stout and what I got was more along the lines of a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. The waitress seemed lost as it took her around 10 minutes to bring me a beer. My wife’s margarita had no tequila taste and was overloaded with sugar and mango syrup.The kitchen staff needs work. My spinach artichoke dip tasted like straight sour cream with no real flavor. The mustard for the pretzel bites was horrendous. It was more of a stone ground mustard mixed with dijon and then watered down. The poutine was the best part of the meal but still there could be improvement. The pork belly bites were burnt which in turn becomes bacon. My second order of poutine I asked for bacon and got none. The ends of the fries were burnt and the rest of the fries on the plate took on the burnt flavor.

The service at Upstream was second to none. I've never felt more appreciated at a restaurant. The kolsch and the cheese curds were top notch. Great atmosphere too.

We had our rehearsal dinner here and Chip took GREAT care of us. The food was delicious, the staff the day of (headed by Tim, I think??) was fantastic, and the venue was great. We were hoping that the price would be a tad lower, but we didn't have to worry about a darn thing- well worth it. Tim let us know where the bride and groom typically sit (THANK YOU) and kept us well-apprised of the state of our drink tab. He also let us know when salads were about to be served, giving us the chance to request a few more minutes (we did not) or to get people seated and say a blessing over our meals, and remained very professional. My husband and I were very satisfied and would recommend Upstream for a rehearsal (or dinner but that's another story!). We got more compliments from guests on our rehearsal dinner venue and staff than our reception venue and staff. One of my bridemaids enjoyed it so much that she is having her rehearsal dinner here as well. A big thank you to everyone involved!

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! I work for a local hotel, and will always recommend this place to my guests. I know they will have amazing food, great service and just have an enjoyable evening while in Omaha. Every time they come back to the hotel they rave about the food, they can’t believe how nice and friendly the staff is. It never fails. Every time. Keep it up!

Out of town and decided because of the tasty sounding beer list, I would stop here. Had a very nice welcome and sat at the bar, from there I was not impressed one bit. If you are looking for an upscale brewery then by all means come here. If you are looking for a place to enjoy your company and have a couple drinks and a laugh, not your place. Bartenders sit on the other side of the bar and talk amongst themselves instead of interacting with their customers, almost an awkward interaction when they do come around. Idk not my feel for what I was expecting. Pizza says thin crust as well. If it weren't for the toppings it would fly away. Should be described as a flat bread. Oh well. Obviously will not recommend but the decor was nice so that's why I'm giving three stars.
